Outlandish Ideas is run by Harry Robbins, Abigail Murphy, Tamlyn Rhodes and Rasmus Winter. We are proud to work with some of the best specialists in the field on a project-by-project basis.
Harry Robbins
Harry specialises in ways to interest users and organise information.
Before joining Outlandish Ideas, Harry worked at the BBC producing prototypes of next-generation tools to help people learn. Before that he worked in TV, radio and marketing copywriting for the public and private sector.

Abigail Murphy
Abi joined Outlandish Ideas from the BBC where she worked on social media strategy for BBC World Service and managed a wide range of sites for BBC Learning.
She wants to banish the terms guru, expert and whizz, especially when applied to social media, and just wants to help people get on with it.

Tamlyn Rhodes
Tamlyn has been making websites for over a decade. He has extensive experience of both client- and server-side development as well as user experience design.
Prior to joining Outlandish Ideas, Tam worked for clients including Logica, Plusnet, the BBC and Imperial College as well as being involved in several open source projects.

Rasmus Winter
Rasmus has a master’s degree in Computer Science, where for his dissertation he developed BioQSpace, a 3D visualisation tool in collaboration with the bioinformatics department.
Before joining Outlandish Ideas, Ras was a senior developer at Ocado where he helped create their in-house software and mobile apps.
